The purpose of the Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee is to serve as the backbone of the Democratic Party. The Central Committee works to ensure that Democrats are elected in local, state, and federal elections. In the case of vacancies in the State Government, the Central Committee has the responsibility to fill the vacancy. As the grassroots base for the Democratic Party, we advance democratic ideals and advance party issues to make our city, state, and nation thrive.
